Porqué crees que los jóvenes Cristianos se averguenzan de hacerles saber a sus amistades que son Cristianos? Hay algo que les puedas recomendar para que se sientan confiados al dejarles saber a sus amistades de su fé?
Why do you think that the Christian youth feels embarrassed to let their peers know that they are Christian? Is there anything you would recommend so that today’s Christian youth may feel confident when they let their friends know about their faith?
I think that a lot of youth are embarrassed to discuss their salvation because it does not fit in with the world. We live in a world now where it seems that the words of society are more important than the words of Jesus, but when we read about Jesus he had no reputation. If your friends cannot revieve you as a christian then they are not real friends at all. I feel like all christians should revisit the scripture that states; And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of the mind that ye may prove what is that good, prefect and acceptable will of God.
I agree with Larry. I feel that today’s youth is very enclosed in the box of this world. Although there are many things that we need to pay attention to, we cannot forget that our Lord is above all. The focus of many youth is on social norms that drive them to want to “fit in” with the rest and avoid being left out.
I agree that peer-presure has a big impact on the youth however they have to learn how to make their own choices and become leaders because we are called to do so. When we say “Yes, God enter my life” we say yes you are my 1 priority, are come before anything in this world which by the way includes making a fool of yourself if you have to in order to build your faith or convert others. Over the years I have learn that salvation comes 1st no matter the circumstances. It’s like I said today at the meditation in church. In the book of 1st Kings 17:13 & 14 ( 1 Reyes 17:13 y 14) gives you a good vision of what it is to trust in the Lord even in a life or death situation. We must learn in order to be one with God we must learn how to put him 1st. Besides we shouldn’t be ashame of how blessed we are because we know the real purpose of why we are here. WOW I FEEL LIKE IAM PREACHING AGAIN LOL!!!!
Hola Dios los bendiga a todos , yo pienso que a muchos hermanos les da verguenza decirles a sus amistades impias que son cristianos es por el mal trato que reciben . Las burlas, empiecen a mirarte como si fueces de otro planeta, empiesan a observar cada paso que das, no entienden que estas aprendiendo a vivir otro estilo de vida que nunca conocias, te estas adaptando para tratar de llevar una vida agradable delante de Dios ,estas haciendo un sobreesfuerso para cambiar los malos habitos que en tu vida te ensenaron y encima de eso no te comprenden. Por eso muchos de nosotros aveces decidimos callar, talvez por que no estamos preparados para enfrentar todas esas cosas. Pero yo les exorto que lo digan porque despues que lo digan la primera vez, el miedo se te ira, no obstante que si verdaderamente son tus amigos, se aturdaran en el momento pero pronto se les pasara y te aceptaran tal y cual como tu eres . Y dejame decirte que no importa lo que nadie piense o crea de ti , el que realmente te tiene que importar, es lo que Dios opine de ti. Dios te bendiga!!!
Amanda pero que buena respuesta, estoy deacuerdo totalmente contigo y sí realmente los amigos hacen todo eso pero, aunque no lo digan publicamente, saben que es la persona con la que pueden contar en todo tiempo y circunstancia, porque Dios pone su amor en ellos para que lo ayuden en medio de las dificultades.
Ser cristiano no es una cosa del otro mundo es simplemente apartar tu vida para Dios, el creador de todo lo que existe.
y asi como muchos eligen prostituirse y otros estar en drogas y cosas que son realmente malas, nosotros optamos por lo mejor…. CRISTO.
